- מְעַלָּתָאf. pl. (עֲלַל) income. Pesik. R. s. 31 (emend. in ed. Fr.) שיבבא בישא מני מ׳ ולא מני נפקתא a bad neighbor counts (his neighbors) income but not (his) expenses.
